JMart: one person, the whole website.

In-house developer and SEO manager for a registered startup’s live booking platform — rankings, features, bugs, speed, all of it. This is what the “Growth Maintenance” retainer looks like when it runs for two years straight.

Role: Full-Stack Developer & SEO Manager LaravelPHPJavaScriptMySQLWordPressGoogle Search Console

Challenges

  • A live booking platform with real customers, and no in-house web team — every bug, feature request, and ranking problem landed on one desk with no backup.
  • Search visibility that didn’t match the quality of the business: indexing issues, weak on-page structure, and technical debt quietly capping organic traffic.
  • New feature demands arriving constantly while the site had to stay fast, secure, and bookable every single day.

Solutions

  • Took full end-to-end ownership: one accountable person for development, SEO, maintenance, and emergencies — no vendor hand-offs, no "that's not my department."
  • Ran a continuous technical-SEO loop: Search Console monitoring, crawl/indexing fixes, on-page optimization, and structured improvements that moved rankings and organic traffic upward.
  • Shipped features and fixes on demand across the full stack while keeping the live platform stable — performance work, security upkeep, and custom functionality built to order.

Process

  1. Audit — full crawl and Search Console review; mapped every indexing, speed, and on-page issue holding the platform back.
  2. Fix — worked directly on the live server through the priority list: technical SEO first, then performance, then structural on-page work.
  3. Build — delivered requested features and custom functionality across front end and back end, in production, without breaking bookings.
  4. Monitor — ongoing Search Console and uptime watch; issues get fixed when they're small, not when they're revenue problems.
  5. Repeat — two-plus years of the same loop. That's why it works.

The takeaway

Rankings and organic traffic improved and the platform stayed fast and reliable — but the real result is simpler: for over two years, a startup hasn’t needed a web team. Specific ranking and traffic figures are shared on a call.
